Norm is a partner at the firm and concentrates his practice on condominium law. Norm represents condominium associations and property management companies both in Massachusetts and Maine.
His practice focuses on construction, real estate litigation and insurance disputes. Norm has been practicing law since 2012. Not only is he licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine, he also resides in both Massachusetts and Maine. Norm has successfully defended and obtained positive results in Appeals Court, Superior Court, District Court and Housing Court. Norm most recently argued and won a case in Massachusetts Appeals Court overturning a preliminary injunction concerning a unit owner’s installation of gate in condominium common area over the objection of a condominium’s board of trustees.

- Obtained Decision from the Massachusetts Appeals Court Affirming Housing Court’s Order that Condominium’s Parking Program was within their Authority and Obtain Judgement in favor of the Condominium on its application after a Bench Trial in the Northeast Housing Court.
- Obtain Decision by the Massachusetts Appeals Court overturning Trial Court’s Order Granting an injunction concerning the installation of a structure in a Condominium’s common areas.
- Successfully, defended efforts in obtaining a Preliminary Injunction where Unit Owners were attempting to prevent Condominium from completing building envelope repairs.
- Successfully defended a Unit Owners attempt to obtain an injunction against a Condominium concerning a Condominium’s right to suspend certain privileges after committing rules violations.
- Successfully obtained an injunction concerning Unit Owners renting a Unit on a short-term basis in violation of Condominium’s governing documents.
- Obtained a judgment in favor of Unit Owner in Derivative Action in Worcester Superior Court concerning the Condominium Board’s Breach of Fiduciary Duties and received an award of Attorney’s Fees.
- Obtained award of attorney’s fees in a Derivative Action in the Land Court concerning Unit Owners installation of a shed on Condominium Common Area.
- Obtained a Jury Verdict in the approximate amount of $245,000.00 after a four-day Jury Trial in Middlesex Superior Court in a Breach of Contract Action.
- Obtained a Jury Verdict in the approximate amount of $52,000.00 after a three-day Jury Trial in Suffolk Superior Court in a Breach of Contract Action.
- Received an award of Summary Judgment in a case involving a contractual dispute concerning an exclusive right to rent agreement and subsequent purchase of real estate.
- Obtained a dismissal of counterclaims as well as attorney’s fees after successfully bringing a Motion to Dismiss under the Massachusetts Anti-SLAPP Statute.
