A&M is pleased to announce that Partner Norm Orban has recently been elected to serve a three-year term on CAI New England’s Board of Directors starting January 2022. Norm looks forward to working with other CAI members and business partners in tackling the latest issues impacting the condominium industry. Norm hopes that his twelve years of experience as a condominium lawyer and his multi-state practice in Massachusetts and Maine will prove useful to the Board. We know that his enthusiasm is contagious and will be beneficial. We also know that somehow he will try to work in his love of Michigan Football. Norm follows in the footsteps of other Allcock & Marcus Partners (Ellen Shapiro and Ed Allcock) who have served on CAI New England’s Board of Directors.
Additionally, Norm has been selected to present speak at 2023 National Community Association Law Seminar, live in New Orleans Louisiana on Jan. 11-14. Norm will be presenting with Sarah Ross, Esq. of the Virgina based law firm Chadwick, Washington. The topic is “Protests in Community Associations”. Norm and Sarah will speak about all kinds of protests in community associations, from attempted insurrections, the subtle to the sublime, legal protections, consequences and how to deal with them. They will also talk about decisional case law and ACLU challenges. Click here to register! https://events.rdmobile.com/Events/Info/1453144 . If you can’t make it, Norm will try to put on a showing for the New England contingent upon his return.
